NEW BEGINNINGS -- FOR BOTH OF US

New Beginnings!!!  Love them, hate them.  Love it when ".....in the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth."  Hate it when I'm retired and have to re-create a new life for myself, with new people to meet, new places to go, when what I really want to do is stay home with old friends, old memories.  However,  life moves forward, and so must I.

The name of this blog, "Roadside Ramblings" explains where I'll be for the next 10 days....on the road driving my daughter to her "New Beginnings" in San Diego, CA.   She has a teaching degree and is hoping to find something in that profession, or possibly something altogether new.  As she says, "just live in paradise for awhile."   I hear the climate is perfect and she'll be living with a high school classmate and her mother in a nice house in Vista, CA.  Like her  first day of kindergarten, I'm anxious to take her there but also know she will be just fine when I leave.  Yes, there will be "kindergarten tears" too.
